Do I have to buy music books?Langlois MusicYes. Your teacher will assign music books based on your age and skill level. You may also be asked to purchase a practice log book, flashcards, and other tools to make your learning experience easier and more successful.
Do I have to have an instrument?Langlois MusicYes. You are required to have a good instrument that meets our minimum requirements. If you do not have an instrument, we will provide you with an estimate to give to your CW ES for immediate purchase.
Do I need to practice at home?Langlois MusicYes. Playing your instrument every day, even for a short period, will have a huge impact on your progress and achievement. Set aside time to review your work from your lessons throughout the week and your success and satisfaction will accelerate greatly.
How do I enroll for music lessons?Langlois MusicPick a day and time for weekly lessons. Inform your CW ES that you wish to enroll and request a minimum of three months of PO's at the rate of $149.00 per month.
How long are lessons?Langlois MusicPrivate music lessons are held once a week for a half hour in our studios.
What if I can’t attend my lesson?Langlois MusicLast minute cancellations happen. We ask that you phone us to let us know that you will not be coming to your lesson. Make-up lessons are not given for last minute cancellations.
What if I need to stop lessons?Langlois MusicPlease fill out a lesson cancellation form in person in order to quit lessons and cancel future auto-payments. 30 days notice is required to ensure payments are canceled.
What if I’m running late to my lesson?Langlois MusicCall Langlois Music at (209)524-1355 and inform us if you anticipate that you will arrive more than five minutes late. You are considered a no-show if you are more than 15 minutes late to your lesson.
What if we go on vacation?Langlois MusicGive your teacher a 30 day advance notice in writing of the days you intend to miss and your teacher will allow you to schedule a make-up lesson for the missed day(s).
