Langlois Music Company offers lessons in virtually all major orchestral and band instruments, guitar, voice, and drums.  Our teachers are highly qualified and have years of experience as both teachers and performers.  Our music studios are safe, clean, and professional and we offer free WiFi in our comfortable waiting room. 

 

Students of Langlois Music Company also have the opportunity to participate in our semi-annual recitals and student group ensembles currently being implemented.  Please call our store to check lesson availability and current tuition prices.

 

We currently offer lessons in the following: piano, violin, viola, cello, contrabass (upright bass), guitar, bass guitar, ukelele, mandolin, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, bassoon, native american flute, recorder, penny whistle (tin whistle), trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium (baritone), tuba, drums, and voice.

Patrick Campbell

Patrick Campbell holds a Bachelor degree with emphasis in music instruction, theory, composition, and recording. Patrick is well established in music instruction teaching privately for over 25 years on both the west and east coast. A multi-instrumentalist, he instructs on piano, synthesizer, vocals, clarinet, saxophone, flute, Native American flute, trumpet and recorder. Patrick has performed as a professional musician/entertainer for over 40 years in hotels, theatrical productions, recordings, radio commercials, benefits, cruise ships, etc., while leading his own band on many performances. Patrick is a published composer and is a member of BMI, a performing rights society. He has published with Suelar Music and Sound Fantasy Studio

Tony Frye

Tony has been working in the bay area as a professional performer and instructor for over 15 years. He has appeared in the pit orchestra as an instrumentalist, conductor, or music director in over 120 theatrical productions and has scored music for cartoons, short films, and stage productions. As a recording artist, Tony has released two albums including a children's album (Growing Up Is Optional) which charted in the top 20 on the Google Play Music charts. For five years, Tony served as the Assistant Band Director and Director of Jazz for Saint Francis High School, where his ensembles won multiple awards and accolades in festivals throughout the state. Tony has performed alongside members of Tower of Power, Huey Lewis and the News, and Glee as well as several renowned cabaret singers.

Patrick Governor

A multi-instrumentalist, Patrick's musical education began at the piano where he was classically trained. During his high school years his passion shifted to the guitar. Patrick began to play professionally in his early twenties performing on keyboards and guitar. Fluent in many styles, Governor continues to perform locally and throughout the region. Patrick has studied music for over 35 years. A natural progression of events has led Governor to the path of teaching, giving him the opportunity to share his experience and love of music with students of all ages.

Wendy Goulart

Voice and Drums

Wendy has trained in vocal performance from Delta Junior College in Stockton and Harbor Junior College in Los Angeles. Wendy has been teaching voice for 18 years and drums for 14 years. She has sung in rock bands for many years with gigs ranging from United Service Organization (USO) tours in the South Pacific to an all female Rock band in the Hollywood Clubs and several bands in between. Wendy has also enjoyed singing in church choirs and broadway musicals in small theatres.

Theresa Smith

Theresa Smith is a life-long musician and music educator. She studied music at Hartt College of Music, San Francisco State University and De Anza College in addition to studying privately throughout her elementary and high school years. Past and present professional organizations include Associated Board Royal Schools of Music, National Guild of Piano Teachers, San Francisco Symphony Chorus, Oakland Symphony Chorus, San Francisco Concert Chorale and Peninsula Women's Chorus.

She has worked extensively as a private music educator, accompanist, recording session accompanist, school band director, vocal coach, choir director in and around San Francisco, and most recently in the Modesto area. She Teachers all ages, sizes and levels of experience with patience, spirit and knowlege.

mErrissa Brambila

Voice, Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello

Life long Modesto resident. Has studied with various local music college professors. Her love of music started at the early age of 6 with piano as her first instrument followed by violin and voice. Her music genres include contemporary, musical theatre, opera, pop and classical. Experience includes musical director for local theatre company "YES", vocal coach at local area high school, and music director for several local churches.
